Mid-Century Modern 1960’s Teak Dining Table by Richard Hornby for Fyne Ladye
A stunning and rare mid-century solid teak dining table, designed in the 1960s by Richard Hornby for Fyne Ladye and originally retailed through Heal’s.
An outstanding example of British craftsmanship, made entirely from solid timber, something only a handful of quality makers like Fyne Ladye of Banbury specialised in.
This piece features a beautifully rich teak (afromosia) grain and refined minimalist lines typical of Hornby’s work. The table is in excellent vintage condition, showing only very light and natural signs of use.
It includes one extension leaf, neatly stored underneath the tabletop when not in use.
