Mid Century Børge Mogensen for FDB J39 Dining Chairs (1969) - Set of Six

Beautiful set of six iconic J39 (known as “The People’s Chair”) dining chairs, designed by Børge Mogensen for FDB Møbler. Solid beech and oak frames with handwoven Danish cord seats in the classic envelope pattern. Originally purchased in 1969, these chairs have been very well looked after by one owner since new. embody the timeless elegance of Danish modern design.
Ideal as a dining set, they also make striking occasional chairs in a variety of interiors, from Scandinavian minimalism to eclectic vintage. 
A rare find in very good original condition, with just minor signs of age-related wear.
